New Delta Breeze Lacrosse Website: Is Live Now!

August 21, 2026

The new Delta Breeze Lacrosse Website is now officially live, serving as the primary digital hub for youth lacrosse families in East Contra Costa County. This platform provides essential access to registration for fall ball clinics, seasonal schedules, club news, and volunteer opportunities for players aged 5 to 14.

Why did we launch a new Delta Breeze Lacrosse website?

For a long time, our online presence was a bit like a stray lacrosse ball in high grass—hard to find and even harder to deal with once you tripped over it. As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, Delta Breeze Lacrosse is dedicated to promoting the sport at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. We realized that to serve our community of parents and players properly, we needed a home base that didn’t look like it was designed in the era of dial-up internet and neon spandex.

Building this site was a labor of love, specifically the kind of love that involves staring at a computer screen until your eyes cross and you start seeing code in your sleep. Our club president, who had precisely zero experience in web development, took on the challenge. It turns out that building a website is remarkably similar to learning lacrosse: there’s a lot of running around in circles, occasional frustration, and a massive sense of accomplishment when you finally hit your target. The goal was simple: create a space where parents can find everything from Practice Field Information to our latest News & Events without needing a PhD in navigation.

The President’s guide to not breaking the internet

If you were wondering why the lights were on at 2:00 AM in the president's house for the last month, it wasn't because she was reviewing game film. It was because she was embroiled in a high-stakes battle with a website builder. Transitioning to the new Delta Breeze Lacrosse Website was a journey filled with "learning opportunities," which is the polite way of saying she accidentally deleted the homepage at least three times.

Learning how to embed links, optimize images, and ensure the mobile version didn't look like a jigsaw puzzle was a crash course in digital survival. She learned that "CSS" isn't a type of defensive zone coverage and that "Alt Text" isn't the name of a backup goalie. Every late-night coffee fueled a new discovery. She discovered that clicking "publish" feels a lot like watching a game-winning shot mid-air—part terror, part exhilaration.

This DIY approach was important to us because we are a grassroots organization. We wanted a site that felt like us —community-driven, approachable, and focused on the kids. We didn't want a generic corporate template; we wanted a digital reflection of the fields at East Contra Costa County where our kids learn grit, teamwork, and the joy of a well-placed pass. If you see a button that looks slightly crooked, just know it was placed there with immense effort and possibly a few muttered words that aren't allowed on the field.

What can parents find on the new digital home?

We didn’t just make it look pretty; we made it functional. We know parents are busy—shuttling kids between school, practice, and the elusive "free time." This site is designed to be your one-stop shop for everything Delta Breeze.

Surviving late-night coding sessions and lacrosse sticks

The process of building this site while managing a non-profit and, you know, having a life, was a testament to the Delta Breeze spirit. Just as we teach our players that the game isn't over until the final whistle, our president refused to give up on the navigation menu. There were moments where it seemed easier to just go back to paper forms and carrier pigeons, but the vision of a connected club kept the project moving forward.

We’ve integrated better ways for you to stay informed about the 2027 Season and find answers to common questions on our FAQs page. No more searching through three-month-old emails to find out what time 8U Jamboree starts; the 8U Jamboree Information is now just a click away. We’ve even included a section for Forms and Documents to make sure you have every waiver and info sheet you need at your fingertips.

How do you sign up for Fall Ball clinics?

Getting started with the new Delta Breeze Lacrosse Website is easier than a fast break. Our 2026 Fall Ball clinics are the perfect entry point for beginners and a great way for experienced players to stay sharp. We invite boys and girls ages 5 to 18 to join us for instruction, scrimmages, and informal games.

To register, simply visit the Home Page and look for the prominent registration link. We’ve worked hard to ensure the checkout process is smooth and the information is clear. If you encounter any bugs, please remember our president’s late nights and be gentle—or better yet, reach out to our Board Of Directors and let us know! We are always looking to improve, just like our players on the field.
